The newest character to join Genshin Impact, Zhongli, is set to arrive this week as a playable character in the game. In addition, developer Mihoyo has released another trailer for Zhongli, detailing the character in the game.

When the first character trailer for Zhongli was released, it showed more of his background at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, however, the new trailer talks about his combat style and the power he holds

The update will also bring in a new story quest for Zhongli called the Historia Antiqua chapter. The quest will be an unlockable story for players who have reached AR 40, and have completed the third act of the first chapter. Zhongli is 5-star Geo character which is why he is already highly anticipated character in the game. One of his attacks petrifies enemies and freezes then in one place, leaving them open for more hits and damage.

Mihoyo also details the character’s Ascension Materials that will allow you to level Zhongli all the way up from zero to 90. For now, you can start farming materials required to level Zhongli up in the game. Doing this right now will allow you to ready up the materials required to level up Zhongli when he arrives tomorrow.

According to thegamer.com, these are all the Ascension Material required to level up Zhongli in Genshin Impact:

  • 1 Prithiva Topaz Sliver
  • 9 Prithiva Topaz Fragments
  • 9 Prithiva Topaz Chunks
  • 6 Prithiva Topaz Gemstones
  • 15 Slime Condensates
  • 30 Slime Secretions
  • 36 Slime Concentrates
  • 46 Basalt Pillars
  • 168 Cor Lapis

But these are not all the items you are required, you will also need at least 420k Mora in the game, especially if you are looking to reach level 90 for Zhongli.
