Gosaku’s Armor – If you’ve been playing the ‘Tank’ role in major RPGs, then you would be happy to know that Gosaku’s Armor will allow you to be a tank in Ghost of Tsushima. This heavy armor is all about taking damage and sending it back. Your attacks are heavy and staggering while the thick armor ensures that you stay in the battle for the highest amount of time. Just make sure you do not try to sneak behind enemies wearing this behemoth armor. With this armor, you get increased health, increased stagger damage, and a health boost after every staggered enemy kill. Upgrade the armor to its fullest and you get a massive increase in health, major boost to stagger damage, and 20% bonus health after every staggered enemy kill.

Ronin Attire – If playing Stealth is your main game, then the Ronin Attire is for you. It comes with a major boost to stealth perks and abilities. While wearing the Ronin Attire, you will be harder to detect by the enemies as the armor blends in the darkness and tall grass. It further decreases enemy detection speed by 10% and increases your melee damage by 15%. Fully upgrade the suit and you will have 20% slower enemy detection speed and 30% increased melee damage.

Sakai Clan Armor – The Sakai Clan Armor is for players who love fighting standoffs. Apart from a general increase in health and melee damage, this armor specializes for samurais who love standoffs and love to take down their enemies with a single hit. It will provide you with a decent increase in melee damage and health however you can fully upgrade the suit to gain a massive boost to melee damage as well as health. The main bonus is that it increases your Standoff Streak by 1. A successful Standoff will also have a 10% chance to Terrify nearby enemies. Fully upgrade and your Standoff Streak will increase by 2 and you will have a 20% chance to Terrify nearby enemies.

Samurai Clan Armor – If stealth not really your playstyle and you prefer the good old head-on combat, then the Samurai Clan Armor is for you. It comes with perks and bonuses that will help you face enemies head-on and emerge victorious at the end. The base version of armor comes with a moderate reduction to all enemy attack damage, a slight increase in health, and a 15% resolve from all of the incoming damage. You can further increase it to make yourself extremely resistant towards enemy attacks, gain a massive increase in health and obtain 30% bonus Resolve

Traveler’s Attire – If you are looking for collectibles and do not want to engage in much of combat, the Traveler’s Attire should be your choice of armor. It comes with different abilities that will aid your search for collectibles. It will allow you to use Guiding Wind to track enemies, make the controller vibrate when you are within 30m of an artifact, and exploring with the Traveler’s Attire will clear 10% extra fog on the map. You can upgrade the armor set to increase the detection range to 60m and 30% additional fog clearance from the map.
