Gigabyte has revealed three new gaming monitors as part of their Aorus lineup. The Aorus gaming monitors come in TV screen sizes starting from 32 inches all the way up to a 48-inch model. Each monitor in the lineup features HDMI 2.1 that allows for high refresh rate gaming at 4K.
The Aorus gaming monitors come in three different screen sizes, 32-inch, 43 inches, and 48 inches. All three monitors will also feature VESA’s HDR 1000 standard. The 32- and 43-inch monitors, named the FI32U and the FV43U, respectively, will feature 144Hz panels.
Gigabyte claims that FI32U will have a 0.5ms response time, which will make it one of the faster 4K gaming monitors out there. The FV43U has a slower 1ms response time, but that little of a difference will not be noticeable by even the pickiest gamers.
On the other hand, the 48-inch model named the FO48U has a refresh rate of 120 Hz only. It is also the size of a TV more at home in an entertainment center than a monitor on a desk. Aorus’s 48 Inch FO48U shares many similarities with the 48-inch model of LG’s CX OLED TVs. It had the same 120 Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 support.
OLED panels deliver the best blacks, deep beautiful colors, and instant response — making them one of, if not the best choice for gamers. With the new AORUS gaming monitors coming in 32-inch, 43-inch, and 48-inch sizes all offering 4K 120Hz and HDMI 2.1 at a minimum, the huge 48-inch AORUS FO48U now joins the LG 48-inch 4K 120Hz OLED TV as an OLED-based 48-inch display with 4K 120Hz for the ultimate in gaming.
For now, there is no word on the pricing and availability of these monitors but they surely will be popular among gamers if Gigabyte prices them correctly.
