Each location in God of War is full of different locations that you need to collect if you want to reach 100% completion for each location. These collectibles are spread around each location in hidden areas or off-path areas and you might miss many if you are not careful.

You can collect all of them after finishing the main story of the game.

Alfheim Collectibles Guide – God of War

This God of War Alfheim Collectible Locations Guide focuses on all collectibles present in Alfheim. There are 26 collectibles in this region that you must collect. We have detailed the collectibles in a sequence so that when you start the area, you can collect all of them easily without missing anyone in between when you explore the area.

Alfheim Collectible # 1 – Lore Marker

Exit Tyr’s Temple and you will find the first Lore Marker on the main path. Look on the right side of the path on a rock.

Alfheim Collectible # 2 – Purple Language Cipher Chest

In the same area, reach the end of the path and turn right immediately. You will find the chest sitting behind a corner.

Alfheim Collectible # 3 – Shop

Continue back on the path and you will find Sindri’s shop by the water. Your boat is also located nearby.

For the next set of collectibles, you must travel to the Central Lake area. Once you reach the central area, head to the right side of the area.

Alfheim Collectible # 4 – Nornir Chest

This Nornir Chest is located on a hidden island on the right side of the main lake area. You can only dock on this island while you are on the right side of the area. Once you have landed on the island, make your way to the end of the island after opening the gate. Once you are there, you will need to hit three bells that make a sound. There will be many targets in the area but only three will make a sound. You need to hit all three that make a sound quickly to unlock the chest.

Alfheim Collectible # 5 – Realm Tear Encounter

This Realm Tear Encounter is located on the same island. Head back on the path and now go towards the other locked gate. Open the gate using your axe. There will be some pink vegetation that is glowing. Throw your axe at it and use the lever.

Now call the axe back, and make sure that it hits the pink vegetation on the way back. This will cause the gate to open. Quickly hit the pink vegetation at the top of the gate to keep the gate in place. Now you can go in and trigger the Realm Tear Encounter.

Alfheim Collectible # 6 – Artifact

After closing the Realm Tear, head to the end of the path and you will find some pink vegetation. You will need to throw your axe in a way that you hit all three of them in a row. If you manage to hit all three of them in a row, the vegetation will go away and give you a clear path to the artifact.

Alfheim Collectible # 7 – Legendary Chest

This Legendary Chest is also located on the same island and in the same area as the previous artifact. Once the vegetation clears up, it will open a secret tunnel behind it as well. Enter the tunnel and you will find the Legendary Chest at the end. You will need to clear some more vegetation before accessing it. Use the wheel to make them move and then hit them all when they are aligned with each other. This will give you access to the Legendary Chest.

For the next set of collectibles, you need to get back on your boat and head to the left side of the lake. There is another island on this side where you can land.

Alfheim Collectible # 8 – Raven

Once you arrive at the other end of the lake, land on the island and look for a statue of light on the island. You will find the raven sitting on this statue. This statue is of blue light and the raven is sitting on top of it.

Alfheim Collectible # 9 – Realm Tear Encounter

Now head to the left side of the beach where you will find a room with three blue crystals. Atreus’s light arrows can activate them for the Realm Tear to spawn.

Alfheim Collectible # 10 – Artifact

Now head back to the beach and make your way towards the right side of the beach. You will find this artifact sitting near a dead body.

Alfheim Collectible # 11 – Legendary Chest

Keep heading right until you reach a tunnel. Cross the tunnel and you will find this Legendary Chest.

Alfheim Collectible # 12 – Hidden Chamber

Head back to the main beach area and take the middle path this time to get to the Hidden Chamber.

Alfheim Collectible # 13 – Mystic Gateway

This is located inside the Hidden Chamber.

Alfheim Collectible # 14 – Raven

This raven is sitting in the Hidden Chamber’s Valkyrie battle room. Look on the left side of the room.

For the next set of collectibles, you must get back on your boat and head to the central island where the sand bowl is located. Ride the elevator to get to the underground and follow the main story path.

Alfheim Collectible # 15 – Legendary Chest

Once you arrive below, you need to look behind the elevator to find a chamber where this chest is located. The Legendary Chest is behind a locked metallic gate, which cannot be opened until you clear up the pink vegetation. Go to the right side of the chamber and throw your axe at the pink bulb, which is glowing. Do not call the axe back yet.

Head to the metal gate, stand in front of the second glowing bulb, and call your axe back. This should hit the second bulb as well. If it misses, you will be required to try again until both bulbs are destroyed simultaneously allowing you to open the metal gate and open the chest.

Alfheim Collectible # 16 – Nornir Chest

The Nornir Chest is located after the location of the last chest. It requires you to break three runes but they are all placed in different places and you will be required to operate a platform to view them all. Start by going to the wheel, which allows the platform to go up and down. Initially, lower the platform to the max and freeze it in place by throwing your axe.

Once it is frozen, leave the wheel and turn around. You will find the first rune. Destroy it. For the next two runes, you need to lift the platform to the top. Now begin lowering it down again. First time spin the wheel twice and you will see a blue rune in some distance right ahead of you. It will be a little lower than you.

Freeze the platform again by throwing your axe at the gear and drop down to the lower platform. You can punch both runes to break them and the Nornir Chest will be unlocked.

Alfheim Collectible # 17 – Artifact

Use the same platform to get to the lower level to find the artifact sitting in a backroom.

Alfheim Collectible # 18 – Artifact

For this artifact, go back to the Nornir Chest and head over the light bridge. Look for a room on your right side and you will easily see the artifact inside.

Alfheim Collectible # 19 – Artefact

After collecting the last artifact, use the middle door and go to the next area. When you reach the elevator, look on its left side to find the artifact. There will be some blue crystals in the elevator.

Alfheim Collectible # 20 – Legendary Chest

Take the path on the right side of the elevator and you will easily find this Legendary Chest sitting in plain sight.

Alfheim Collectible # 21 – Artifact

The last artifact of this area is sitting at the end of the same path as the previous Legendary Chest. Just keep following the path to the end to find it.

For the next set of collectibles, you will be heading back to the top of the Alfheim using the same light elevator present in the area. Once at the top, you can collect the following collectibles.

Alfheim Collectible # 22 – Shop

This is Sindri’s shop at the top of the circular platform. If you have played the story, this will be unlocked already for you as it is right in the main story path.

Alfheim Collectible # 23 – Nornir Chest

This is located on the opposite side of Sindri’s Shop. You will see a door blocked by some pink vegetable. Line up the glowing bulbs and use your axe to destroy them. Once the path is clear, hit the three bell runes simultaneously to open the chest. One rune is located right on top of the chest while two others are located in front of the big door.

The last set of collectibles in Alfheim is located inside Freya’s Temple. This is the big temple, which has a beam of lighting shooting out of it.

Alfheim Collectible # 24 – Nornir Chest

Enter Freya’s Temple and put a blue crystal in front to create a bridge. Atreus will need to shoot at it to create a bridge. Use the bridge and reach the next area. Once you reach the top, you will find the Nornir Chest, which requires you to hit three rune bells in quick succession. One is located on the right side; one is located in the middle, above the chest while the last one is located on the left side.

Alfheim Collectible # 25 – Lore Marker

Go back to the blue crystal, which you used to create the bridge, and pick it up. Bring it down the stairs and place it in the slot next to the Lore Marker. Atreus’s blue arrows will activate it.

Alfheim Collectible # 26 – Legendary Chest

This is located next to the Lore Marker in plain sight.
