Chaos Flame Locations Guide – God of War Ragnarok
You can upgrade your Blades of Chaos eight times in the game which means that you will need to find eight Chaos Flames for this purpose. Five of these Chaos Flames are story-bound; you must play and progress in the story to obtain these. The remaining three Chaos Flames are obtained after completing certain tasks in the game. If you forget to collect one after unlocking it in the main story, you will find it sitting inside the blue chest at any blacksmith in the game.
Chaos Flame #1
Progress in the story and defeat the Dreki boss for it to drop this Chaos Flame.
Chaos Flame #2
Progress in the story and defeat the Forest Ancient boss for it to drop this Chaos Flame.
Chaos Flame #3
Progress in the story and defeat the Frost Phantom boss for it to drop this Chaos Flame.
Chaos Flame #4
Progress in the story and defeat the Double Dreki boss for it to drop this Chaos Flame.
Chaos Flame #5
Progress in the story and defeat the Double Soul Eater boss for it to drop this Chaos Flame.

Complete 6 Draugr Holes and you will collect enough Chaos Sparks to have 1 Chaos Flame.

Complete 6 Muspelheim Trials and you will get access to a Nornir Chest in The Crucible which gives you a Chaos Flame.

Complete the Berserker Gravestone in The Sinkholes located in the Vanaheim realm to obtain the final Chaos Flame.
