A week has passed since the holidays however two games have continued the sales chart, and these are God of War Ragnarok and FIFA 23. GfK has released the sales charts for last week and both God of War Ragnarok and FIFA 23 have continued to dominate at their exact same spots as last week. As we reported last week, during the holidays, God of War Ragnarok shot back to the number 1 spot after overtaking FIFA 23 in sales and sent the football game to the 2nd spot where the game sat for a second consecutive spot as well. Claiming the 3rd spot is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II which managed to overtake Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and is now sitting in the 4th spot.
Out of the top 10 spots, 7 spots were dominated by Nintendo Switch exclusives which means that Nintendo is currently sitting in a very comfortable position with its titles beating everything else out there in sales. Titles dominating the spots after Mario Kart 8: Deluxe include Pokemon Violet, Nintendo Switch Sports, Pokemon Scarlet, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Minecraft, and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. Last week, Sonic Frontiers was sitting at the tenth spot in this list however after just one week, it has managed to fall down to the seventeenth spot which is the biggest drop for any title this week.

It just shows how strong Nintendo actually is when it comes to sales when it is easily beating tons of other multiplatform titles. Last week, Nintendo had six spots in the top 10 list and this week it has increased it to seven spots.
