If you are aiming to visit the Muspelheim realm, you will be needing two Muspelheim Seeds which are scattered around the nine realms. Similar to the original God of War, God of War Ragnarok allows you to visit the realm of Muspelheim where you can complete combat challenges and earn rare resources.
Muspelheim Seed Locations Guide – God of War Ragnarok
For getting access to the Muspelheim realm, you will need to find two Muspelheim Seeds. Both of them are located in different locations and you cannot get them right at the start of the game. This is because the Muspelheim realm is not an easy place, and the game wants you to get experienced with the mechanics and level up before you can finally tackle the combat challenges and find those rare resources.
Muspelheim Seed #1
You will be able to find the first Muspelheim Seed fairly early in the game. While you are exploring the Bay of Bounty in the Svartalfeim realm, make your way to the dock of Modvitnir’s Rig. After reaching the docks, make your way up the first step you see up ahead. Right after stepping up, turn right and climb up using the wood up ahead. After climbing, hit the nearby switch with your switch and this will open up a gate up ahead. Now go through the gate and jump the gap before crawling up and you will find a chest at the top. Open the chest and you will find your first Muspelheim Seed inside this chest.
Muspelheim Seed #2
For the second Muspelheim Seed, you have to progress quite a bit into the main story of the game. Once you have acquired the Draupnir Spear, head back to the Bay of Bounty in the Svartalfheim realm and make your way to the Dragon’s Beach. After you dock your boat on the right side of the dock, look to the left side to find a chain. Climb this chain and throw the spear into the wind slot at the top. Now you can climb up to reach an area that was previously not accessible.
Cross the bridge and keep going until you see a Rune Slate on the left side. Freya will read these runes and then reveal a chest. From the location of the chest, turn left and keep going into the caves. Once inside these caves, you will come face to face with some enemies. Defeat them all and you will then need to use the fireballs to break open the gold blocking a chest inside here. The second Muspelheim Seed is located inside this chest. Now that you have both the seeds, you can finally enter the fiery Muspelheim realm and take part in the combat challenges there.
