This God of War Ragnarok Mystical Heirloom Guide will help you find the Mystical Heirloom and unlock the cool Steinbjorn Armor set in no time.

Mystical Heirloom Guide – God of War Ragnarok

The very first step in obtaining the Mystical Heirloom in God of War Ragnarok is story progression. After playing through the story enough that you can get to Tyr’s Temple and you have obtained the Draupnir Spear, you can find the Mystical Heirloom and from there, begin your hunt for the four frozen trolls in the game.

Location of the Mystical Heirloom

In Lake of Nine, make your way south and go down Tyr’s Temple where you will see an ice wall with a unique yellow paint marker. This wall of ice can be cracked with your Draupnir Spear so use that here to gain access to the area up ahead. Move ahead and you will see a poisonous Scorn Pole on the right side and a dead body on the left side. Go to the dead body and pick up the Receipt of Purchase Scroll and the Mystical Heirloom. Pick both of the items and now you have the Mystical Heirloom which can be used to awaken the Frozen Trolls and fight them. Make sure that you pick up the Slumber Stones that these trolls drop after you defeat them.

Troll #1 – Midgard

You can find your very first troll pretty close to the spot where you found the Mysterious Heirloom. In Midgard, go to the southwest section of Lake of Nine and keep following the path until you come to a chain that leads to a shop. Go up the chain and make your way up ahead to The Derelict Outpost. Cross the first chasm and you will arrive inside an area that is pretty big with cranes. Look to the right side and you will find a huge troll frozen in ice. Use the Mystical Heirloom on the troll to initiate the fight.

Troll #2 – Alfheim

For your second troll fight, you must head over to the Alfheim realm. Once there, make your way to The Forbidden Sands and make your way to the far west section of this area where you will spot the frozen troll. Simply use your Mysterious Heirloom to unfreeze the troll and initiate the boss battle.

Troll #3 & 4 – Vanaheim

Yes, you read that right. The final boss battle will have two trolls and you will find them in the Vanaheim realm. Travel to the Vanaheim realm and make your way to The River Delta. Keep following the river until you arrive at the location right above the Noatun’s Garden. You have to spot this location on the map as this area is right above where Noatun’s Garden is written on the map. Once you arrive in the Noatun’s Garden, head to the east section of the area, and you will find two troll statues here frozen and waiting for you to unfreeze them and start the boss battle. You will fight both trolls at the same time and there is no way to unfreeze just one and fight each of the trolls separately.

Steinbjorn Armor

Once you have defeated all four trolls and collected the Slumber Stones, you can finally craft the Steinbjorn Armor which is one of the best armor sets in the game. To craft the new armor set, simply head to your favorite blacksmith in the game and simply give them the Slumber Stones to craft your shiny new Steinbjorn Armor set.
