In this God of War Ragnarok Transmog Guide, we will guide you on how you can apply Transmog to your armor in God of War Ragnarok. If you love seeing Kratos in a different way and you do not want to change the physical attributes and stats, you can use a clever technique called Transmog. Read on to learn more about what is transmog and how you can use it in God of War Ragnarok.
Transmog Guide – God of War Ragnarok
Transmog is a useful utility since it allows you to have a custom visual appearance for Kratos while getting the bonuses and power of another armor set. You can understand it with the example that if you are looking for armor sets that favor damage absorption, they will mostly cover both shoulders of Kratos and rather look really bulky but you want to keep the look of your Kratos light but also want the attributes of the tanky, heavier armor set. You can do this by applying transmog to the armor set.
However, before you apply transmog, you will need to upgrade the armor set to its fullest which means that the armor set must reach Level 9. Once you have reached Level 9 of the armor set that you want to keep the physical stats from, you can apply transmog to it and make it look like any other armor set currently in your inventory whether you crafted it yourself or found it in a chest. You do not have to level the armor set that you want to look like. This can only be done in Brok and Sindri’s shop.
To change the look of your Level 9 armor set, simply go to the armor piece and select Edit Appearance. From here, you can browse the various armor sets that you have, and you can press and hold Square to apply the look to your custom set. In this way, you can change the look of each induvial armor piece easily. You just have to make sure that your base armor piece has to be a Level 9 one and not the one you are trying to look like.
