Gran Turismo Sport June Update Goes Live Today, New Cars and Sardegna Circuit Added

Gran Turismo PS5

A new update for June is heading to Gran Turismo Sport today as it adds more cars and a new circuit to the game. Polyphony Digital is keeping up with its trend by dishing out the monthly DLC for fans.

Gran Turismo Sport June update goes live today, and it is expected to bring out 5 new cars. Some of the cars have been confirmed as shown in the teaser trailer that you can see below:

The rest of the cars were teased directly by the producer of GT Sport Kazunori Yamauchi in a tweet. Fans have already guessed what cars they think are coming. According to the teaser, the following cars will be added today in the June Update:

  • Chevrolet Camaro Z28 ’69 (N300)
  • Gran Turismo Red Bull X2019 Competition (Gr.X)
  • Renault Sport Clio V6 24V ’00 (N200)
  • Toyota Sports 800 ’65 (N100)
  • Toyota Tundra TRD Pro ’19 (N400)

Talking about the new track, players would already know that Sardegna is a rally track that existed in the game from the beginning. However, the new track is going to be completely revamped by turning into an asphalt track. I think this is a great way to utilize such rally tracks that rarely get any gameplay action.

The new asphalt track does not come as a surprise, as it was shown in last weekend’s Nation’s Cup event. The asphalt Sardegna track was one of the three used in the competition featuring many professional players.

Finally, Polyphony is also adding the circuit experience event for Goodwood Motor Circuit. This will give players a good chance to get to know the track better, and how to effectively post blistering lap times.
