Character Classes

After you are done with choosing the appearance and the gender of your character, you will be given a choice to choose the classes. There are three Classes in Greedfall:

• Magic
• Technical
• Warrior

The Magic class will have your character specialized in performing spells that attack the enemy. This means that this class can attack from a distance by not having to physically attack the enemies, but use a spell that affects the enemies. When you choose this class your primary, you will get the Stasis, Diving Magic Ring and one-handed heavy weapons for close combat.

The Technical class is about controlling the fight by being strategic. This means that you will have a good strategy when in combat, and you will be using items like tools and science to your advantage. Having this class as your primary will have you specialized in fighting with firearms, elemental traps, and one-handed blade weapons.

The Warrior class is your standard attack class that focuses on melee damage. As a Warrior, you will be best with heavy one-handed weapons and blades. If you choose this as your primary, you will get one-handed heavy weapons, one-handed blades and the skills that are special to firearms.

Character Attributes

These are the skills that grant you special abilities when you unlock them. By unlocking attributes, you get access to better weapon and gear that can transform the battle. Attributes are divided in six categories that are:

• Strength: This skill is to increase the power of your melee attack blows
• Endurance: This skill is about your health and balance with heavy armor
• Agility: This skill is about the amount of damage you inflict in melee combat with Fury Generation
• Accuracy: This skill is about increasing the damage output of your firearms and alchemist items
• Mental Power: This skill is to increase the power of your magic and spells
• Willpower: This skill is about receiving more Magic Points while also prolonging the spell duration.

Character Talents

Just like your attributes, Talents are more of personal features of your character. This means that any upgrades you choose from the various talents will have their buffs applied to your character. Talents are divided in five categories that are:

• Charisma: Upgrading this talent will lower merchant prices, and will improve your companion’s fighting ability
• Science: This talent will allow you to craft potions and consumable items
• Vigor: With this Talent you can easily pass through difficult paths that you need to travers
• Lockpicking: This will allow you to pick a lock to enter a door or gate
• Intuition: This talent will allow you to get more resources when you are out looking for them.
