Green Hell: The Board Game is going to start its Kickstarter campaign in the coming weeks and before going live, the developer has revealed the core rules and setup of the game. In anticipation of the launch, around 5,000 people are waiting in line for the project’s launch to back it up so Galaktus Games has taken the opportunity to give them a little taste of the board game by revealing the core rules and setup prior to the launch of the Kickstarter campaign.
Explained via two separate videos, Mateusz “Vik” Sochoń, the game’s lead designer first details how you will set up the game for playing. Green Hell: The Board Game supports multiplayer and comes with four characters to choose from in the base game that you can choose for your game. The second video details the core rules of the game and how you will navigate the world of Green Hell.
What makes Green Hell’s runs unique is that the Rescue Party will face different challenges and jungle layout every time. Green Hell: The Board Game revolves around the story of Jake from the digital video game Green Hell and is essentially a co-op survival game. Jake is lost in the Amazon jungle while trying to find his lost wife. Players playing the Green Hell: The Board Game are all part of the Search & Rescue team and are sent with the sole task of finding and retrieving him. Each member of the Rescue Team comes with its own unique set of skills that will be used while searching for Jake in the Amazon jungle.
