GRID Havana

Codemasters has released a new video for the upcoming GRID and it showcases the brand new Havana Street Circuit along with a new car. The new car in the video is the Cadillac Dpi-V.R. which is a fully spec’d LMP1 and is one of the best looking cars in the series at this time. The video also tells us about the brand new teammate system that will be a part of the game. The game looks amazing and the track is gorgeous to look at in the new video.

The brand new track is part of a brand new location featured in the game. Havana and Shanghai are two locations are brand new to the franchise in GRID while San Francisco and Barcelona are returning locations for the franchise. Each city will feature a multitude of different tracks where players will race in cars of their choice.

During the Career Mode of the game, players will be able to complete the races at their own pace. There is no forced completion in the game as it gives complete freedom to players to complete their favorite races from the mode and then return back to complete the remaining races or don’t complete them at all. The game also allows freedom to pick any car they want for any race in the game.

The new video also details the brand new teammates’ system which allows players to race in teams instead of going solo. These virtual teammates are unlocked as the player progresses in the game and are not available right from the start of the game. These will help players rack up wins even if the player fails to come at the top of the podium. There are 72 different teammates to hire in GRID.

GRID also features a brand new Nemesis system which works like real-life opponents in racing events. During races, some of the AI will be much easier to handle collisions and more however some of the drivers will become your rivals and will try to return the favor at the next corner. These drivers will become your nemesis for the race and they will be more aggressive towards you.

GRID is now slated to release on October 11, 2019, on PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC. Ultimate Edition owners will get a 3-Day Early Access along with all Season 1-3 content.
