Guacamelee! 2 comes with two different endings with one bad and the other one good. If you want to experience the good ending then you will be required to do some homework before you actually achieve it. If you simply play the game normally without completing the requirements for the good ending then you will automatically unlock the bad ending. The game does not force you to play the whole game again if you unlock the bad ending and then later want to try for the good ending. It is saved right before the final boss fight so you can simply get the bad ending and then try for the good ending without any worries. We also recommend that you complete the game first before you try to find these key parts as they require some advanced skills that you will not have at the start.
All Key Parts Location Guide – Guacamelee! 2
Below we have detailed the locations of all five key parts in our Guacamelee! 2 – All Key Parts Location Guide that are required for the good ending. Collecting these five parts will let you create a key, which is used to unlock a special door, which contains some really hard challenges for you.
To get the good ending, you will be required to complete all these challenges so that you can reach the Holy Hen. We highly recommend that you start collecting these parts only when you have completed the game once and have all the health, stamina upgrades and most of the skills purchased. Check below for all the key part locations.
Key Part # 1 Location
The first key part is very easy to find as it is story related. You will acquire it in Infierno. After you defeat the boss Cactuardo, you will receive your first key.
Key Part # 2 Location
The second part of the key is located in Templo de Jade. You must enter the Temple from the southern-most entrance, which is located in Los Manglares. Head to the chicken passage. Below this chicken passage, there is a green river where the part is located. Stay in the blue light to avoid the lava. You must have the chicken hover ability to reach it. You cannot reach the key part without this ability.
Key Part # 3 Location
The next key part can be found in Tule Treetops Top. For this key part, you must have unlocked all chicken abilities as this area is only a chicken area. Aim for the entrance of Tule Treetops Top from Isla Bonita. Egg-laying power is required for this key part. Lay some egss to feed the gatekeeper and you will granted passage to the Tule Treetops. Clear the long jumping section and you will eventually reach the key part.
Key Part # 4 Location
This key part is located in Los Manglares. In the middle of the area, there is a hidden enemy gauntlet that you must clear to win this key part. To access it, take the lower-left exit from the town hub and drop down. Here you will find the hidden enemy gauntlet. It is the hardest fight arena in the game so we recommend that you tackle this gauntlet once you have unlocked all skills and upgrades in the game. Complete the gauntlet to win a key part.
Key Part # 5 Location
The last key part is located in Infierno. Head to the giant lava lake located on the eastern side of the area. Launch across this lake and you will arrive at a platforming challenge. You must clear this simple platforming level. You will be flying horizontally and you must destroy the flying exploding blobs. Complete the challenge and you will get the last part of the key.
Unlocking the Good Ending
Now that you have all five key parts, you are all set to unlock the good ending of the game. Your challenge is not over yet as you still need to beat a super hard platforming level. Head back to the chicken headquarters where you must open the golden door with the key. Once the door is open, you will be required the complete the platforming area up ahead.
This area is very hard and it will take a few tries to complete it. When you finally make it to the end, you will meet with the Holy Hen who will give you the secret message. Once you get the secret message, go back and fight Salvador in the temple. Beat the boss to unlock the good ending of the game.
