One of the main types of collectibles in Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy are the Guardian Collectibles that you need to find. This Guardians of the Galaxy Guardian Collectibles Guide will show you can find these various objects that are hidden in different locations.
In total, there are 15 Guardian Collectibles, hidden across the various chapters of the game. However, you are not necessarily required to find all to get the Thoughtful Captain trophy/achievement. Collecting half of these will reward you with the trophy. Nonetheless, we have detailed all the Guardian Collectibles in the game and how to get them.

Below we have listed all the Guardian Collectibles and where to find them,
Guardian Collectible #1 – Ravager Comm Bracelet
This collectible can be found in Chapter 1 when Rocket starts the bet with Star-lord. You have to go into the ship and then head to the lower level where Rocket will talk about the ship’s cockpit. Crawl through the hole and you will fall down triggering a cutscene. Crawl through another tight space and you will come to a small area with grey liquid among all the purple stuff. Shoot at it and you will find the bracelet.
Guardian Collectible #2 – Spinal Control Unit
In the same Chapter 1, and after you defeat the new enemy that you will face after separating from Groot and Rocket, you will have to escape and find a way out from this place, while describing the place to Drax.
You need to make your way to the upper level by using the platforms created by the towers of old mining equipment and junk. On the top level will be the grey liquid goo that you need to clear out to reveal the collectible.
Guardian Collectible #3 – Broken Translation Device
In Chapter 2 when you are in Nikki’s Hideout and following her, go to the console area with the three monitors. The device will be on the ground here.
Guardian Collectible #4 – Chitauri Sear-Cuffs
In Chapter 3 after fighting Slakebeast, there will be a climbable wall that you can climb by using Gamora’s ability and climb up just under the bridge. Now turn around and look up at the reactor stuck in the grey sticky liquid. Shoot it down and then use Drax to carry it onto the opposite side towards another high wall that you need to access.
After climbing up, jump down on the other side on the ground to the right and you will find the Sear-Cuffs.
Guardian Collectible #5 – Assassin’s Ring
Found in Chapter 4 when you find the vault of Lady Hellbender, you will come to an area with a large hole on the floor, where Star-Lord will talk about railings. Turn around to the left and enter the first room where you will find the Ring behind some metal crates.
Guardian Collectible #6 – Cold Case File
In chapter 5 when you have to restore power in the reception of Ko-Rel’s ship, enter the control room and head left from the middle where you will find it on the floor
Guardian Collectible #7 – Collector’s Emporium Doll
Can be found in the Collector’s Emporium, but only after you get the ticket for this place after reciting the song to Lipless in the bar. Now you can purchase the doll from the shop.
Guardian Collectible #8 – Drax’s Rap Sheet
When you are going through Hala’s Hope in Chapter 7, you need to open the door that uses Nikki’s key. Shoot the grey liquid to open up a tight path and then you will come to a new area. Turn around and look up where the grey liquid will be holding some crates. This will open up the path that lets you climb up. The collectible will be behind the yellow boxes on the right.
Guardian Collectible #9 – Galactic War Commendation
In the same Chapter 7, you will find it on the left when you reach Ko-Rel’s office. It will be behind the blue flag.
Guardian Collectible #10 – Deep Mine Device
In Chapter 8 when Rocket tells Star-Lord about the rendezvous spot near the hull. Follow Rocket and just as they turn left, you should climb the cylinder structure to go to the workbench area on top. This platform will have the Device on the right.
Guardian Collectible #11 – Mourning Candle
After fighting the Slakebeast, follow the group on this newly opened path but take a left through the gap in the wall. Now follow the path on the left by first jumping over to the rock platform and then climbing up. The Mourning Candle will be behind the blue gooey object.
Guardian Collectible #12 – Meditation Stone
After you get the Wind Shot and fight enemies inside the caves, you will find faces carved on the rocks, where one such face on the right will have a glowing highlight over its mouth. Shoot it and it will open up the area behind with the grey liquid. Shoot at the liquid and continue through this pass where it will take you straight to the Stone, just above the rest of the group.
Guardian Collectible #13 – Glarnot Mask
In Chapter 12 when you are in the Marketplace, you will come to a section that you will need to clear up, followed by a path that needs Gamora to help you. Turn to the left where you will come across some enemies, and then jump down and slide on the railing. When you drop down, you will find green gas leaking from the pipes ahead. Clog the holes of the pipe and then pick up the mask.
Guardian Collectible #14 – Xatar’s Blade
In Chapter 13 when you are crossing through the ice-covered rocky section, and where Groot makes the path for the group to cross. You will come to a climbable wall on the main path where you can use Gamora to get up the platform and pick up the blade.
Guardian Collectible #15 – Deeproot Plant
The final Guardian Collectible is Deeproot Plant also found in Chapter 13. After exiting the caves, you will come out to an area with the plants. The collectible will be on the right, sitting on the rocky floor.
