MA40 Assault Rifle
The assault rifle is one of the starting weapons you get and is also one of the best weapon choices you can get in the early game. The assault rifle specializes in close to medium range combat, a decent clip size, and magnification to zoom in for cleaner shots. However, the bullet spread is significant for long-range shots, which is where this weapon performs very poorly. But as a starter weapon, the assault rifle is definitely a good choice for a weapon.
Mangler
The mangler is a close-range weapon that will give you the most satisfying kills when you land each shot. As a close-range combat weapon, the Mangler shines when you can get close and land a couple of shots at the opponent. From close range, you can take down an opponent with three shots from the Mangler. The damage drops off when you draw some distance between the opponent and the weapon, as it will reduce damage and require more shots to kill.
Battle Rifle
This is another really good weapon you can have, as it has a three-round burst that can be deadly if you are accurate with shots. The weapon is pretty forgiving but requires you to be accurate for it to work best.
MK50 Sidekick
This is a very trusty pistol that is probably a lifesaver when you run out of ammo in your primary weapon. The sidekick pistol is available by default to every player and is a reliable way to continue your assault whether you are close to the target or far. The only thing it asks of you is to land your shots if not headshots. If you are accurate, this weapon will become one of the deadliest secondary you can get.
VK78 Commando
The commando assault rifle is currently the most powerful assault rifle in the game. With deadly damage output and range, this is one of the best weapons you can get. The only downside is that the clip size is pretty small with 20 rounds, but with a relatively quick reload time, you can pretty much continue your attack without any issues.
