Halo Infinite Will Be Project Scarlett’s Launch Title, New Trailer Released

Halo Infinite

Microsoft has officially revealed a detailed trailer for Halo Infinite during its E3 2019 presentation and has also announced that the title will arrive with its next-gen console Project Scarlett in Fall 2020. The 5-minute trailer gives us a good look at the story of the game and also shows us that the Master Chief is returning to the franchise. Sadly, no gameplay was shown today during the presentation.

The trailer shows that Master Chief has been brought back to life after he was found in space and the person who rescues him mentions that they have nothing left and must run but Master Chief says otherwise that they have to stand and fight which shows that he is still not afraid of the fight and will gladly get back in action just after his resurrection.

With today’s announcement, Halo Infinite is the first title for Project Scarlett and sets the foundation for the future titles as well. 343 Industries state that Halo Infinite is going to the best Halo ever made in the franchise. It is also using a brand new Slipspace Engine which will power all future Halo games as well.

The studio also stated that if someone has not played any Halo game of the past, Halo Infinite is going to be an excellent game for them to jump in and try this amazing franchise. This game will set a brand new direction for the franchise and it is being called a ‘soft reboot’ of the franchise by 343 Industries so it will set the perfect launching spot for newcomers.
