In the upcoming Inside Xbox event that Microsoft has announced to be held on 12 March, there are rumors that confirm news about Halo: The Master Chief Collection might be getting a release announcement very soon.

All Microsoft has said is that there is going to be “exciting news” related to the game in the upcoming event. However, there is no guarantee if the PC version will be announced then.

In a recent YouTube video, an Xbox expert Brad Sams has said that the game is definitely in development and that its release is close. He also added that it is possible that an unveiling will coming in this year’s E3 event.

Microsoft’s open secret that they have been working on the Master Chief Collection for the PC, and I’m hearing that is getting close to release. This could be announced at E3.

Either way, we should be getting more details pretty soon, as some are expected in next weeks Inside Xbox event.

Other than hinting of exciting news about Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Microsoft has more updating news about DayZ, One Piece World Seeker and Xbox Game Pass. The event is scheduled for 12 March starting at 2 pm PT/5 pm ET.

The Master Chief Collection was originally released in 2014 for the Xbox One. Though the game experienced serious issues at launch, Microsoft was quick to fix the problems and still gives out updates today to keep the game running bug free.

The collection contains the Anniversary editions of Halo 1 and Halo 2, as well as the normal editions of Halo 3 and Halo 4. It also contains the campaign mode for Halo 3: ODST. In addition, it also includes multiplayer support for each game.
