A brand new assault rifle Havoc has arrived in Apex Legends after it was teased a day earlier by Respawn. The new gun comes with two firing modes which allows it to be an assault rifle and a hitscan beam sniper at the same time.
Havoc uses Energy ammo and offers two unique ways to taking down enemies. It also comes with an attachment called Turbocharger which eliminates the auto-fire charge delay and makes it an excellent assault rifle. If you use the Selectfire Receiver with it, the gun becomes a hitscan beam which requires charging before you can fire it.
This charging might be a little slow and require higher precision to fire it but it increases the range of the weapon allowing you to use it as a precision sniper. If you want to have both a sniper and assault rifle at the same time without sacrificing both weapon slots, this gun will be the perfect option for you.
Havoc is just the small starter before the main course coming next week which is the Battle Pass. Apex Legends is about to get tons of new content next month when its Battle Pass finally arrives. We also got some dataleaks recently which showed Solo, Duos and some other game modes like Survival.
It also revealed two new Legends making their way to Apex Legends soon as well. Respawn is planning on keeping Apex Legends alive with smaller additions like the new Havoc rifle or the major content additions like the Battle Pass coming next week.
Until now, no other game had seemed to take Fortnite head on but it seems like a worthy competitor has finally arrived for Fortnite. It now depends on Respawn to keep the game alive with constant additions and seasonal events and it will make to the top in no time.
Apex Legends is now available on PS4, PC and Xbox One. Players can download and play the game for free.
