Is Death Stranding 2 in Development? Hideo Kojima Teases New Concept

Hideo Kojima New Concept

Hideo Kojima has gone on to tease a new concept in development, that might remind you instantly of Death Stranding. Now whether or not the game producer is working on Death Stranding 2 is still unknown, but the twitter teaser does have a Death Stranding BB in it.

Although the tweet does clarify that Kojima is in fact working on a new title, the image of a baby is something that is undoubtedly related to Death Stranding.

Last month, Hideo Kojima revealed how a major project had been canceled and that he is working on a new game. This indeed raises some questions, most of all if Kojima’s new project is solely on a sequel for Death Stranding.

In the same tweet, Kojima also mentions how he is working with art director Yoki Shinkawa on the new game concept. During the times of the current lockdown affecting the entire world, Kojima reveals how he has been working with Shinkawa through emails and texts, where they both have been discussing various details of the game, it’s setting for the characters, the background, the world, the color, and other characters including roles, images, ideas, and keywords.

It seems that the Death Stranding creator is busy working on the new game concept. A couple of days ago, Kojima tweeted working on multiple new projects, which includes on “big title.”

Hideo Kojima loves to shroud his games in mystery, leaving speculations to arise from every corner. The new game concept is going to another title which will be teased over the coming months, or years, who don’t entirely know for sure. Death Stranding was one such recent title which was shrouded in mystery, with trailers that made no sense, and very little gameplay footage over the years after its reveal.
