Despite being different, they are still interested in developing the title and they might consider it sometime later down in the road. His official words to The Telegraph were

These games are definitely fun. And we’re interested in the patterns they are taking. If we did it, it might be a bit different! But we’re definitely interested and there’s definitely that possibility in the future. We’d love to take a crack at them some day.

We can only imagine with franchises such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne and the upcoming Sekiro, Miyazaki is going to make a very superior battle royale game. Imagine playing a Battle Royale game set in the world of Dark Souls where you fight each other with swords, shields and spells. We will certainly love to play it especially if Miyazaki is behind the game.

At this point, Hidetaka Miyazaki is working on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and the title is slated to release later this month. We are looking forward to see what Hidetaka has in his store this time. After seeing the gameplay trailers and reveals, we are sure that it is going to be a solid title just like Miyazaki’s previous titles.
