Indie studio Realcast has announced the launch of its chaotic physics-based VR game Hide the Corpse on Meta Quest. The full release of Hide the Corpse comes after spending four months in Early Access and now the title offers the complete version of the game to enjoy chaotic and hilarious sandbox levels. This quirky virtual reality game blends fast-paced gameplay with comedic elements, offering you a thrilling yet hilarious adventure.
In Hide The Corpse, you are tasked with the absurd challenge of hiding a body within a strict four-minute window, across six unique environments. Known for its innovative humor and immersive physics-based mechanics, the game pushes you to think quickly and creatively. With the official release, the game expands to offer even more chaos and fun, introducing new stages and features that build on the excitement from its early stages.

The full release includes six distinct environments: Apartment, Garage, Museum, Diner, Shipwreck (with underwater physics), and Spaceship (featuring zero-gravity gameplay). Each level presents different challenges, demanding both strategy and adaptability as you work against the clock to conceal evidence and outwit the game’s unpredictable physics.
Among the key features now available is the game’s updated scoring system, which rates you based on how swiftly they hide the body, erase fingerprints, and conceal clues. You are graded from S to E, encouraging you to improve your performance with each attempt. The introduction of a sandbox mode allows you to freely experiment with hiding techniques, utilizing the interactive objects scattered throughout each environment to add creativity to their strategy.
In addition to gameplay mechanics, Hide The Corpse offers a fun wardrobe feature, allowing you to unlock six funky character skins, including Disco, Pirate, Superhero, and Zombie. The full release also introduces an advanced tutorial to guide you through the physics-based challenges, as well as new music tracks and sound effects to enhance immersion.
Hide The Corpse has been in development for 18 months, shaped by continuous feedback from the game’s active Discord community. Even with its full release, the developers are aiming for additional updates which will be released in the future adding more content to the game.
