The true battle only begins once you defeat Velvet Chair Girl in a game of musical chairs, where her pink octopus partner called Ohma comes out to battle you for the death of Velvet Chair Girl

How to Beat Velvet Chair Girl in No More Heroes 3

In the first phase of the battle, Travis will be competing in a 4-round game of musical chairs. If you don’t know the rules of the game, you have to run to an empty chair when the music ends. Anyone that is left stranding without a chair is eliminated.

All throughout the music, you will be pressing buttons that show up on the screen, but running towards the center of the stage when the music stops, hurrying to secure an empty chair. This game will continue Velvet Chair Girl joins in the game to compete against you. The game remains the same and once you beat her in getting a chair, she will die.

The true battle begins when Ohma turns into a giant version of itself, signaling the beginning of a more traditional fight with Travis. Ohma will target you by using its laser beam it shoots out forward. This attack is one-hit and will end the fight instantly if you get hit. To avoid it completely, you need to be on the enemy’s sides at all times. locking your aim at the enemy will allow you to hit Ohma on the sides.

Occasionally, Ohma will produces short bursts of her laser to hit you, but these can be dodged as well. As you proceed in the fight and deal damage to Ohma, it will reduce in size but will introduce a new laser attack it uses by being aerial and above you. You can either be on the move to avoid getting hit or stand directly underneath Ohma.
