Platige Image along with Movie Games have partnered and created a new game development studio called Image Games. the new game studio will produce AA video games that will comply with Platige Image’s highest visual and narrative standards.
The new studio has already planned to produce 3 crime-themed games that are set in different periods of history. With the help of Platige Image’s know-how in animation and the area of movie and serialized show IPs, the new studio will produce the three games to release sometime in the near future.
Piotr Gnyp, Chief Marketing Officer at Movie Games had this to say,
We aim to make Image Games a standout studio known for games with engaging stories, thrilling gameplay, and animations worthy of the silver screen. The genre of period crime stories is perfect to realize this vision. We’ll reveal more about our developments soon, with the announcement of our first title.
With more than 20 years of experience that Platige Image has in the area of 3D visuals and animation, it is already known for the world’s most famous video games, which include Outriders, Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War & Warzone, Total War: Warhammer III, The Division 2, Metro: Exodus, and many more. In addition, it has also worked for the VFX work on the Netflix’s The Witcher TV series.
