INDIE Live Expo 2024 Teases Lineup and Hosts for Upcoming Winter 2024 Showcase

INDIE Live Expo, Japan’s premier digital event spotlighting indie games, has unveiled a short teaser trailer for its upcoming Winter 2024 edition. The new trailer offers us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming show. Scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024, the event promises over 100 announcements, including world premieres, release dates, DLC reveals, and much more. You can tune in live at 2 AM PST via Twitch, YouTube, X, and Steam.

Returning to host the event is fan-favorite emcee J-mon, who will guide viewers through signature segments such as the rapid-fire INDIE Waves, extended deep dives during the Spotlight Segment, and the Publisher Selection, which will feature updates from well-known publishers like PLAYISM and room6. These segments will highlight both highly anticipated new titles and updates on existing indie favorites.

Some of the featured games include BOKURA: planet, a co-op puzzle adventure from Kodansha Game Creator’s Lab; All In Abyss: Judge The Fake, a unique Texas Hold ’em adventure RPG developed by WSS Playground; and Detective Dotson, a Bollywood-inspired cozy detective game from Masala Games. More announcements are expected as the showcase draws closer, with surprises teased for you of all genres.

Alongside the broadcast, viewers can take advantage of the INDIE Live Expo Steam Sale, which kicks off on Thursday, December 6, at 7 PM PST and runs until Friday, December 13, at 10 AM PST. Discounts will include games featured in this year’s event as well as alumni titles from previous showcases.

To further engage you, INDIE Live Expo is hosting a Follow and Repost campaign on X beginning Monday, December 2. Participants have the chance to win prizes while showing their support for the event. This milestone marks the tenth INDIE Live Expo in its four-year history, with the event having amassed over 100 million views and showcased more than 2,500 indie games to date. Known for its ability to connect East and West, INDIE Live Expo continues to be a global platform celebrating the creativity and innovation of indie game developers.
