ININ Games has announced its first collaboration with the Sekai Project to publish Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition physically and digitally in North American and Europe for Nintendo Switch. Apart from the standard release, ININ Games will also release a Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition for the game which will be released through the digital store of Strictly Limited Games. Pre-orders will start soon.
Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition has been developed by Regista and directed by Ever17 creator Nakazawa Takumi, the game follows the events of a nuclear meltdown at a research facility from two different points of view. The game’s premise is officially described as:
Leaving an unknown number of survivors inside and a reactor on the verge of exploding, the rescue team is sent in to figure out the situation and save the ones left inside. Unfortunately, the leader of the rescue team is suffering from amnesia, which makes the situation even more complicated. The player will uncover the events that have led to this disaster. Combining the stories of the different characters and experiencing every twist and turn is the only way to uncover the truth of what happened that fateful day.
Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition features a unique Senses Sympathy System in which players must follow their senses and gut feeling and prioritize which character they want to focus on and follow, drastically changing the scenario and the outcome at every step. One wrong move here can lead to your death however since the game features multiple endings, these choices will allow you to unlock unique endings bases on your choices.
The Nintendo Switch version of the game will feature full HD graphics and crystal-clear sound. The exclusive Collector’s Edition is really a one of a kind Collector’s Edition. It will ship with the following goodies:

This is the first time that Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition is coming to the west and releasing outside Japan. While the physical and digital standard editions will be available everywhere, the Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition will only be available at Strictly Limited Games.
