Intel Gen 11 GPU Performs Similar To MX 130 In Ashes Of The Singularity

Intel Gen 11 GPU

Intel Gen 11 GPU performance was leaked previously and we saw that it had similar performance to AMD Vega graphics and now it seems that the integrated graphics solution performs similarly to the Nvidia MX 130, which is very impressive indeed. This will be the first integrated GPU that will hit 1 TFLOPs of performance. To give you a reference, the Xbox One was initially designed to deliver 1.3 TFLOPs of power.

The Intel Gen 11 GPU performance is 100% better when compared to the UHD 620 graphics and that is something that we expected to see from the new graphics solution. You can check out the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark below:

Keep in mind that this is most likely and engineering sample and could be using older drivers. It also seems that this is a mobile chip. All things considered, it is safe to assume that the final product will have better performance.

In the same benchmark, the Intel UHD 620 delivers 10 FPS, the MX 110 gets to  17.7 FPS and the MX 130 delivers 20.1 FPS respectively. While this might not seem like a massive step up, it is safe to say that the Intel Gen 11 GPU is going to be great for the upcoming thin and light laptops as it will be able to provide ample power without dedicated graphics.

These are initial numbers are we will find out more about the Intel Gen 11 GPU as we get closer to launch, so stay tuned for more information regarding the matter. In other news, Intel has shown off some pictures of the upcoming Xe dedicated graphics card and the boss of the division has talked about why he left AMD and joined Intel.

Let us know what you think about the Intel Gen 11 GPU and whether or not you would be interested in getting a laptop that would be powered by this GPU.
