Developer PlaySide Studios has announced the launch of its intense arcade action shooter game KILL KNIGHT on PC and consoles. KILL KNIGHT is now available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5. The game invites you to enter the dark and treacherous depths of the Abyssal Keep in a brutal quest to reclaim their honor and face down an unimaginable foe: the last angel.
In KILL KNIGHT, you take on the role of a condemned knight armed with an arsenal of pistols, heavy weapons, and swords, all while donning various unique armor sets. With these tools at their disposal, you are given hundreds of distinct playstyles to carve your path through the five deadly layers of the Abyss. The game challenges you to exploit enemy weaknesses, perform brutal executions, and carefully manage resources as they battle relentless swarms of demonic foes.

The gameplay is designed to reward aggression and precision, offering a top-down, push-forward combat system that keeps the action intense. Each layer of the Abyss presents new challenges, with the game’s retro-inspired aesthetic creating an immersive atmosphere full of dread and tension. You will need to navigate this corrosive world while surviving the otherworldly onslaught of enemies.
For those seeking an extra challenge, KILL KNIGHT features four distinct difficulty levels, allowing you to tailor the experience to their skill level. The game also includes a unique Sever Mode, where all five layers are combined into one extended arena challenge, testing you’ endurance and strategic thinking.
As you progress, you can raise their Kill Power, which boosts both speed and pistol damage, giving them an edge in combat. Completing various challenges unlocks new weapons and equipment, allowing for further customization of playstyles. For those who enjoy competitive play, global leaderboards provide an opportunity to chase high scores and compete against friends and other you worldwide.
KILL KNIGHT is now available for purchase at $14.99, with a 10% launch discount on PC via Steam for a limited time. Apart from PC Steam, it is also available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
