Developer and publisher Wargaming has announced that global action icon Jason Statham will be the face of the World of Tanks Holiday Ops 2025 event. Known for his high-octane performances in films such as The Transporter, The Meg, and the Fast & Furious franchise, Statham brings his signature charisma and grit to this festive celebration, adding an action-packed twist to the holidays.
The annual Holiday Ops event kicks off on December 6, 2024, and runs until January 13, 2025, promising a month of excitement for tankers worldwide. This year’s edition introduces an enhanced festive hangar where you can take on special assignments and complete battle missions to earn rewards directly from Statham himself. The event’s mix of holiday cheer and adrenaline-fueled action is set to make it a standout experience for fans.
Accompanying the announcement is a live-action trailer that blends humor with classic Statham-style action. The trailer opens with Santa Claus caught in a scuffle with a gang of troublemakers. However, when Santa takes an accidental punch, the scene cuts to his stunt double—none other than Jason Statham. Taking over in brutal yet stylish fashion, Statham transforms the set from a typical holiday story into a full-throttle epic, asserting his dominance both on screen and on set. Check it out below:
