Nintendo has revealed the first footage of Joker DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and have also revealed the release date for it. This information was revealed in their recent Nintendo Direct events last night.
Joker is the next in line DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which was released last year in December and will further increase the huge roster of characters featured in the game. Joker is from Persona 5 and fans of the series will know this sneaky thief all too well.
Nintendo has only released the first DLC character, Piranha Plant, for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and it was also free for players who had purchased the game before January 31, 2019. Now, we have a confirmed release date for the second DLC character Joker as well.
According to the new trailer showcasing Joker for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Joker is releasing for the game in April 2019 and will arrive in the 3.0.0 update for the game. The update will bring many improvements and fixes along with the new DLC character.
You can check out the new Joker video released by Nintendo last night during their Direct event which also introduces us to the next update of the title.
The video only shows half of Joker and sadly we still do not have an actually gameplay video of him fighting in the game. Looks like we will need to wait a little bit more for that at this point. Apart from this, there were no other information released about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate last night.
