Below we have detailed all the locations of the Explorer Logs in the game.

Explorer Log #1 – Towering Crystals

Go to the Towering Crystals Alien Teleporter, and spawn in this location. From there, you need to head southeast towards a waterfall. There will be some grapple points and platforms to help you reach the top.

To the left of the waterfall, you will find an opening that you can crawl into and head inside the caves. From there you need to jump from platform to platform, staying away from the lava jets that shoot up occasionally. At the end of the cave, you will find the Explorer Log.

Explorer Log #2 – Meteor Crater

This Explorer Log is quite near the previous location, but you can take the Meteor Crater fast travel point for this. From the spawn, head north until you reach the edge. Carefully drop down below until you reach a breakable wall.

Use an explosive to enter this new cave and then head deeper by jumping across platforms. You will then reach the Explorer Log inside

Explorer Log #3 – Festering Chasm

From the spawn location, you need to find the large mushrooms that you can jump onto. These will lead you into a cave. There are a series of doors that require some items for them to remain open.

The first door will require the Bombergranate while the other will require a Shock Fruit. You will eventually reach Plork’s Narrow of Despair, which is an area covered with white laser traps. Jump across and continue ahead until you reach the end of this area where the Explorer Log is.

Explorer Log #4 – Fungi of Si’ned VII

For this collectible, you need to go to head west from the fast travel point, and then south. You will enter an area with a lot of red roots. This area will also have a white platform that you can smash on to break it.

This will open a new path and you have to go down this path with your grappler. Head down to the end and then look up to a grapple point. You will eventually reach another breakable platform that will drop you straight to the Explorer Log.

Explorer Log #5 – Xerophilous Landing

From the spawn, head south until you reach the edge. Up ahead will be a grapple point that takes you to another island. From there, you will need to go west to more grappler points. Continue west to the bigger island which will have an Explorer Log in the small cave.

Explorer Log #6 – Pillars of Xzorgana

From this spawn, you need to head east and use the grapple points to go to the floating island up ahead. This island will have a cave that will be covered in purple crystals. You need to destroy them to enter the cave and access the Explorer Log.

Explorer Log #7 – Moist Vestibule

Head into the hallway from the spawn and drop down to the first floor. You will need to shoot up some of the capsules to revel the Explorer Log. It will be in the northwest facing position.

Explorer Log #8 – Moist Vestibule

Now you need to head down another floor, which is the second floor down the hole. This Log will be hidden in another capsule. It will be indicated by its already cracked glass. Shoot it open and scan the Explorer Log to complete.
