Publisher 505 Games and developer Raccoon Logic have revealed that their title Journey to the Savage Planet is launching on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The version heading to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S is the Journey to the Savage Planet: Employee of the Month Edition which was originally released on Google Stadia but with the closure of the streaming platform, the title is now heading to next-gen consoles. Journey to the Savage Planet: Employee of the Month Edition will release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on February 14, 2023.
The Employee of the Month Edition was previously exclusive for Google Stadia however after Stadia’s extraordinary performance leading to its shutdown, 505 Games is now giving the update to other players as well. The Employee of the Month Edition expands on the original Journey to the Savage Planet with the Hot Garbage DLC, bonus conversations with Martin Tweed, 4K support with Performance and Graphics options, and an enhanced photo mode.

In Journey to the Savage Planet, you will join the Kindred Aerospace program as their highly dedicated Employee of the Month who is tasked with uncovering all sorts of mysteries on the alien planet ARY-26. You are sent on a dangerous mission with no proper way back home and as you are plunged into the planet, you will discover bizarre flora and fauna along the way while using equipment such as laser pistols, bombs, acids, and other explosives to stay alive.
All players who already own Journey to the Savage Planet will receive the Employee of the Month Edition upgrade for free however new players can start their journey in Journey to the Savage Planet: Employee of the Month Edition on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for $29.99. You will be able to play the game on your favorite next-gen console on February 14, 2023.
