The Flans are found all through the world where they give you certain mini game type side missions. These missions are not all the same, but revolve around flan. There are seven Flantastic locations, each with their own missions. Completing the missions help unlock many other trophies/achievements in the game, and also help with your progress for 100% game completion.
When you are in a Flantastic mission, you are required to complete a certain number of tasks like knocking flans or racking up flans on top of a cup. When you do reach the required score, you are awarded with the fruit that was on top of the Flan. These fruits are needed to complete the All Ingredients trophy, and cooking them will earn you the All Meals Trophy.
It is worth mentioning that you cannot reach the Flantastic Seven and their locations in your first playthrough of the game. they are only accessible after you have first completed the world they are in.
If you are just here for the Flanmeister trophy/achievement, you just need to get a high score in each of the flan side missions. Completing with any score is good enough.
Kingdom Hearts 3 Flantastic Seven Locations Guide
Below we have listed all the locations of the Flantastic Seven and what you have to do in the missions. The location we have mentioned below are in the order of the progression of the story.
Flantastic Seven #1 – Cherry Flan
Cherry Flan is located in the Overlook of Thebes in Olympus. Once you are at the fast travel point of the Overlook, head up the stairs until you reach the giant flan with a cherry on top.
The mission begins with you riding on Goofy’s shield and knocking down flans all around the area. Each time you hit the flan, your score increases. If you get knock yourself on a wall, your speed is reduced. Too many crashes will lead to failure in completing the task.
To regain speed, you can slide into the arrows pointed out on the floors. Knock as many flans as you can to rack up a good amount of number. If you score enough you can even get the Cherry Fruit that will be used as an ingredient later on in the game.
Flantastic Seven # 2 – Strawberry Flan
Strawberry Flan can be found in the Rest Area of the Galaxy Toys in the Toy Story part of the game. it is located right next to the save point of the Rest Area.
In this mission, you control a rotating cup and saucer, to pile up flans on top of you. The more you pile up the flans over the cup, the higher your score at the end. There are other enemies that try to knock off the flans, but you can avoid them by pressing X on PlayStation or A on the Xbox. This will allow you a little boost to dodge the incoming attacks from the enemies.
Completing the task with the required high score will give you the Strawberry Fruit ingredient.
Flantastic Seven # 3 – Blood Orange Flan
The Blood Orange Flan can be found in the Hills of The Forest in Kingdom of Corona. It will be where you first spawned in this world in the first playthrough of the game.
The mission involves you to take 7 photographs of the flans posing in different locations. All you have to do is snap a picture once a flan has posed. Aim with the camera and the flan will respond by posing. Once you have all the 7 pictures, you have completed the mission.
Completing this mission will give you the Blood Orange Fruit ingredient.
Flantastic Seven # 4 – Banana Flan
The Banana Flan is located in the Basement of The Factory in Monstropolis. When you reach the fast travel point in the Basement, you will see a white door ahead slightly to your right. Go through the door that takes you to the Door Vault.
From there keep heading straight and slightly to the right through the yellow beams, and then take a right. Up ahead you will see many doors on a wall. You need to go through the door that is second from left in the bottom row. The door will also be colored yellow.
Once through the door, turn around and look for the small opening that will take you straight to the Banana Flan.
In the mission, you will see a giant flan with smaller shaped flans around it. you are required to take down as many smaller flans as you can, while also dodging the attack from the giant flan. The best way to go about with this is to use your magic that takes down multiple targets. You can use your Thundara to have the best effect.
Once you take down enough smaller flans, the mission is completed, and you obtain the Banana Fruit ingredient.
Flantastic Seven # 5 – Grape Flan
Grape Flan can be found on the Mountain Ridge of The North Mountain in Arendelle. Once you are at the Mountain Ridge fast travel point, jump down towards the hill slightly to your left and ahead.
The mission will involve you to defeat as many flans as you can before the timer runs out. The flans will attack you with various but few attacks, that can be annoying and overwhelming at times. keep dodging and use your magic to take down multiple enemies to be effective in the fight.
Completing the mission will give you the Grape ingredient.
Flantastic Seven # 6 – Watermelon Flan
The Watermelon Flan can be found in the Fort of Port Royal in The Caribbean. The flan will be right in the middle of the fort.
The mission is quite easy, as you are required to fire cannons towards the flans approaching you from the sea. There are four cannons, two on the left and two on the right side of the platform. Shoot the flans with the cannons as they line up with the trajectory of the cannonballs.
You can also use the middle bell when it glows orange to fire all four cannons at once. This will ensure multiple takedown of the enemies at once.
Once you have completed the mission, you will be rewarded with the Watermelon Fruit ingredient.
Flantastic Seven # 7 – Honeydew Flan
Honeydew Flan can be found in the South District of the City in San Fransokyo. It is only available at night. To reach the flan, you need to fast travel to the South district night fast travel point. Turn around and run straight up the building, and then glide straight ahead to the nearest rooftops. One of the rooftops has the Honeydew Flan on it.
The mission requires you to jump on the flans that are on the rooftops. The more jumps you score, the higher your score. Once you are done, jump off the building and the mission is completed.
Completing the mission will reward you with the Honeydew Fruit ingredient.
After you have successfully completed all the Flantastic Seven Missions, you will unlock the Flanmeister trophy/achievement.
