In this Kingdom Hearts 3 Moogle Photo Missions Guide, we will show you all the locations of the Moogle Photo missions in the game. There are 20 such missions requiring you to take pictures of certain objects or characters in the game.
Completing all the missions unlocks the new Synthesis blueprints. These small side missions are given to you by the Moogle Shop characters throughout the game, and start when you reach Twilight Town.
In each mission, you are required to take a photograph from your Gummiphone, while also rewarding you with unique items by completing each mission. They also reward you with Synthesis recipe for the item that you can craft later.
Kingdom Heart 3 Moogle Missions Guide
Below we have listed all the Moogle Photo Missions, where they are located, what rewards you get from them, and how you can complete them.
Mission # 1 – I need oven mitts to handle that hothead, kupo.
This is the first Moogle Photo mission that starts in Twilight Town, where you need to take a photo of a Flame Core. This can be found at the Thebes Overlook in Olympus. Go down the stairs and on the left of the lower area, where you will find Flame Cores spawning in a large group.
This mission rewards you with Firefighter Rosette.
Mission # 2 – That fiend keeps getting my pom-pom wet, kupo!
This mission requires you to take a photo of a Water Core. This can be found in the Wildflower Clearing of The Forest in Kingdom of Corona. From the fast travel point, turn around and go west to the ravine area until you get to the Wetlands. From there you need to jump down to the lower area, where you can find a group of Water Cores and Rock Cores.
This mission rewards you with Umbrella Rosette.
Mission # 3 – Fluffy doesn’t always mean nice, kupo!
This mission requires you to take a photograph of Chief Puff. You can find these in Hills of The Forest in Kingdom of Corona. Once at the fast travel point, go north towards the group of Heartless enemies that will have multiple Chief Puffs in it.
This mission will reward you with Mask Rosette.
Mission # 4 – I can’t get over those chiseled muscles, kupo.
This mission requires you to take a photograph of the Hercules Statue in Olympus. This will be right in front of Agora in Thebes and surrounded by scaffolding. Completing the mission rewards you with Cosmic Ring.
Mission # 5 – Mechasmasher’s busting through the wall kupo!
This mission requires you to take a photograph of the big Beasts and Bugs display on the wall of the Toy Box. This can be found in the Galaxy Toys Rest Area, where you need to head to the Action+ store. In the north east corner of the store will be the display of the big red robot coming out of the wall.
This mission rewards you with Soldier’s Earring.
Mission # 6 – Who built that tower in the forest, Kupo?
This mission requires you to take a photograph of Rapunzel’s Tower. This is in the Forest of Kingdom of Corona, down the hill and away from the save point, take the photo of the tower.
This mission will reward you with Mage’s Earring.
Mission # 7 – Wish I could ditch work and see the festival, kupo.
This mission asks you to take the photo of the festival in Thoroughfare of the Kingdom in Kingdom of Corona. To complete, you can take the picture of the streamers above hanging between the buildings.
This mission rewards you Moon Amulet.
Mission # 8 – It takes a hot fire to forge lightning bolts, kupo!
This mission requires you to take photograph of the fire in the secluded forge. This can be found in Corridors of the Realm of the Gods in Olympus. You need to go the railing that you can slide. Choose the railing on the right which will take you to the end of the waterfall. This area is the Secluded Forge, where in the middle of the it is the fire in the furnace.
This mission rewards you with Fire Chain.
Mission # 9 – King if the gods’ to some, ‘Dad’ to others, kupo.
This mission requires you to take the photo of Zeus, who can be found at the Apex of the Realm of the Gods. Zeus will be by the stairs in front of the large area that takes you to the final boss.
This mission will reward you with Thunder Chain.
Mission # 10 – I love watching the tram go by at twilight, kupo.
In this mission, you need to photograph the Twilight Town tram. This can be found in the Tram Common area in The Neighborhood. The train goes around the whole town in a loop, but you have to take a picture showing the entire Tram.
This mission rewards you Draw Ring.
Mission # 11 – Give that hard worker in yellow a raise, kupo!
In this mission, you need to take a photograph of the CDA agent in the Tank Yard of The Power Plant. This monster will be in a yellow rubber suit..
This mission will reward you with Insulator Rosette.
Mission # 12 – Somehow I doubt that palace has a fireplace, kupo.
This mission requires you to photograph the Ice Palace. This can be found on the Mountain Ridge of The North Mountain in Arendelle. Take the picture of the Ice Palace to complete.
This mission will reward you with Blizzard Chain.
Mission # 13 – I think I saw a walking, talking snowman, Kupo!
This mission requires you to take a photo of Olaf who can be found in the Valley of Ice in The North Mountain in Arendelle. You are required to fid the pieces of Olaf to reassemble him. once you have him upright, take a photo.
This mission rewards you with Snowman Rosette
Mission # 14 – Wait, kupo… That green guy looks familiar, kupo!
This mission requires you to take a photograph of the big green cactaur. This can be found on the Main Floor: 3F of Galaxy Toys in Toy Box. You need to go to the play place into the area with the blocks, and then take the photo of the Cactuar that you assembled in the story.
This mission rewards you with Fencer’s Earring.
Mission # 15 – He helps keep the birds out of the fields, kupo.
This mission requires you to take the photograph of the Scarecrow in Rabbit’s Garden. This can be found in the 100 Acre Wood, where the Scarecrow is left of the huge pumpkin in Rabbit’s garden.
This mission rewards you with Slayer’s Earring.
Mission # 16 – There it is, kupo. My lucky star, kupo!
This mission requires you to photograph the evening star in the North or South District of The City in San Fransokyo. When it turn dark at night, climb a tall building and look west where you will see a small yellow dot in the sky. Take the picture of this star.
This mission rewards you with Star Charm.
Mission # 17 – Those fish are swimming through the air, kupo.
This mission requires you to take a photo of the fish-shaped wind socks in broad daylight. This can be found in the North District of The City in San Fransokyo at daytime. These wind socks can be found hanging in the air, where you can climb up a building to take a picture.
This mission will reward you with Aero Armlet.
Mission # 18 – Stay by the falls to beat the tropical heat, kupo!
This mission requires you to take a photograph of the waterfall in Port Royal. This can be found in the Fort of Port Royale in The Caribbean. Head forward until you reach a bridge going over a river, and towards the waterfall south from it.
This mission rewards you with Aqua Chaplet.
Mission # 19 – Show me a creepy, shadowy swarm, kupo!
You need to photograph a Demon Tower. To get to the Demon Tower, you need to have the ability to travel through Battle Fates after finishing the main story of the game
When ready, go to the Tank Yard of The Power Plant in Monstropolis, and then head outside to slide on the rail to your left. On the other side you will see a blue Battle Gate that you can challenge. This will take you straight to the Demon Tower. You might have to take down the enemies first to get a chance for a clear picture.
This mission rewards you with Dark Chain
Mission # 20 – I Moogle-salute all your fierce friends, kupo!
This mission requires you to take a photo of each and every one of your companion in the game. there are 12 teammates that accompany you in the various worlds of the game. it is worth noting that you need to point the camera towards the character, and wait for them to acknowledge and to pose for you to count the picture as taken.
