How to Defeat Luxord
This boss fight is all about blocking and guarding against Luxord’s attacks and finding an opening to hit with a counter-attack of your own. Luxord depends a lot on his projectile attacks which are cards that he throws or uses in various ways to attack. From throwing a single card at you, he can also throw the two decks of cards that come from both sides to pinch you.
In addition, he can also use the cards to block your attacks and shield himself. This makes him quite adaptable in the fight as he can both attack from far away and protect himself if you get too close.
The best way to deal with Luxord is by blocking all of his card attacks and then attack when Luxord is close. If you have the Ultima Weapon, you can deal decent damage to Luxord as he gets closer to you. In the second phase of the fight, which is indicated by Luxord’s health depleting to 50%, he will produce a wall of cards. Your target here is to hit the card three times with Luxord’s picture on it. You have to do this while avoiding the other cards that come to attack you.
Once you have defeated Luxord, you will be rewarded with Magic Weight item that will give boost your Magic.
