Kingdom Hearts 3 has topped the UK sales chart for the last week by outselling Resident Evil 2 and claiming its top spot from the last week. It also beat Kingdom Hearts 2’s record by selling more than double what it sold in its first week.
This was revealed by GameIndustry.biz who shared the last week’s UKIE/Gfk chart for the week ending February 2, 2019. According to this chart, Kingdom Hearts 3 is currently enjoying the top spot in United Kingdom as the highest selling video game since its launch.
Last week, this top spot was taken by Resident Evil 2 but since Kingdom Hearts 3’s release, it has lost its place to the title and is now sitting at the second top most spot in the list. This was natural because Kingdom Hearts 3 was a long awaited title in the franchise.
It is even more significant because it concludes the long running franchise of Kingdom Hearts which started way back in 2002. Fans were waiting for a very long time for it to come out and it was expected to top the list for its release week.
