The latest tweet shared by Kojima Productions composer has confirmed that the studio is currently working on an unannounced project. The tweet was shared by Kojima Productions Audio Director Ludvig Forssell who revealed that the studio is currently recording for the first time during the Covid lockdown for an announced project.

At this point, it might be too early to point out whether it is another title in the Death Stranding franchise or a new IP by Hideo Kojima. However, fans are hopeful that this could be a new Silent Hill title as well ranging from a revival of the franchise or a reboot of the iconic game series. Hideo Kojima also mentioned that his studio would also make movies apart from games as well so this could be their very first movie as well.
Back in June 2020, Hideo Kojima’s tweet hinted that he is currently working on a new Death Stranding project which could be a mainstream title or could be a title set within the story of Death Stranding. There are currently no confirmed reports on this however we know that Hideo Kojima never works on anything subpar. We have seen his work in many different franchises and all of those franchises have made their marks on the industry whether it is Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid or Death Stranding.

Kojima detailed in an interview with Famitsu that his studio is planning to work on multiple titles and one of these projects is going to be a big game just like Death Stranding. However, details on any new projects by Kojima Productions are just speculations and rumors at this point and the studio head has not shared any additional details about the new projects at this point. With Ludvig’s latest tweet, we now know that the studio is now back on work and we will probably get to see Kojima’s latest project soon.
