Korean Studio NPIXEL has announced a brand-new MMORPG Chrono Odyssey slated for release on PC and mobile platforms in 2022. NPIXEL is the developer behind Gran Saga and this is their second project since the release of their first title. Chrono Odyssey is set in a universe where fantasy and sci-fi collides.
Chrono Odyssey follows the story of a special organization known as ‘Idraiginn’ who are tasked with battling a legion of all-powerful gods. The game is made with Unreal Engine 4 and it will utilize the full power of this engine with large-scale battles, stunning vistas, and exquisite character models. The game’s soundtrack is composed by Cris Velasco who is known for his work on Resident Evil 7, Overwatch, and God of War.
NPIXEL is currently working on its first title Gran Saga as well which is slated for release on iOS and Android devices along with PC as well. It uses Unreal Engine 4 as well so we can say that the developer is creating a niche with its first two projects. It will also feature cross-play between devices however this feature has not been currently announced for their second project Chrono Odyssey so we can only guess at this point.

While the game has an official website as well, there are still very few details known about the game so far. A release window of 2022 has been announced so far with PC and mobile platforms in mind. However, the developer has expressed an interest in a PS5 and Xbox Series release following its initial release however no confirmed news is available at this point regarding a console release. You can check out the official website for some concept art and additional screenshots however not many details have been revealed at this point.
