How to Beat Large Water Elemental In Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous

Before you head out to face the Large Water Elemental enemy, make sure you and your companions are fully healed up and are leveled up for some small buffs. If you are playing in the hard difficulty, then at least choose Wendaug or Lann in your team as they will massively help in the fight.

What makes this fight tough is the boss and its ability to be immune to many damage effects, and the damage reduction it comes with. If you are thinking of poisoning, stunning, or looking for crit hits, this boss has its bases covered and will render these attacks useless.

The most effective strategy here is to first obtain the Radiance longsword weapon by completing the gem puzzle in the Shield Maze and equipping it if your character is a Paladin. If that is not the case, you can hand the weapon to Seelah, who will be engaged in the main fight on the frontline anyway.

Your attacks should be plain and simple, which are to use your melee attacks to continue hitting the enemy and stopping in its track. What you need to keep in check are both your companions’ health as it will drop when fighting the enemy. use the tactical pause and heal up your companions to keep them engaged in the fight as long as possible. Eventually, the Large Water Elemental will be drained of its health and will collapse on the floor.
