Right before the release of Doctor Who: The Edge of Time, PlayStack and Maze Theory have released the launch trailer of the game. Doctor Who: The Edge of Time is a feature-length VR video game set in the world of Doctor Who. The game is all set to launching today on November 12, 2019, for PS VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and HTC Vive Cosmos. An Oculus Quest release is also planned for later this year.
The game will allow players to visit the Victorian London, escape from a space-stranded cruiser and explore an Egyptian temple from a fully operational TARDIS. Players will experience the game under guidance from The Doctor herself played by Jodie Whittaker as they explore the world of Doctor Who through VR for the first time. Doctor Who: The Edge of Time is crafted with tons of references to the actual show that spans over its 55-year rich history.
