Gun Media has revealed a new trailer for their upcoming Layers of Fear 2 game and it looks amazing. The trailer shows the beautiful cinematic visuals of the game combined with the horror elements and we cannot wait to jump in the game already.
The new trailer revealed by Gun Media and Bloober Team is narrated by Tony Todd states that time will play in important part in Layers of Fear 2. The terms ‘I’ll play a part’ and ‘time waits for no one’ specifically appear in the trailer.
According to the trailer, we can assume that this time around, the game is set in a haunted ship. Well the boat itself is not haunted but the main protagonist, an actor who is shooting a movie aboard the ship, is trying to fend off his inner demons.

The trailer shows some typical horror elements such as self-shutting doors in a corridor, dark corridors filled with rats, coffins and red lighted areas. Layers of Fear 2 is a psychological horror game so it is natural for it to tease the very tip of your spine with its visuals alone.
According to the trailer, the visuals of the game look amazing and it looks like we are watching a cinematic movie. We will get to explore the entire ship in stunning cinematic detail as the player embarks on a dark self-discovery journey.
Apart from a developer diary and two trailers, nothing else is currently known at this point. Gun Media has not revealed anything about the release date or the platforms on which the title will arrive. However, we do hope that the game releases in 2019.
Layers of Fear 2 is the second title in Bloober’s Team psychological horror game. The first title, Layers of Fear, was released back in 2016 on PS4, Xbox One and PC and it was a solid psychological title. We are expected the second title in the franchise to be even better than the first one.
