Another leak has surfaced the internet and thanks to VideoCardz we have few images and information on GIGABYTE Z390 Aorus Pro WIFI. The images highlights a certain information that could be true. However, we do not know it for sure until it releases officially.
Nvidia GeForce RTX series official reviews date revealed
The leak points out that GIGABYTE Z390 Aorus Pro WIFI will support only 8th generation processors. This is mere speculation as it is not clear from the image alone. Check out the image below.
Also, recently we saw images of GIGABYTE Z390 SLI gaming motherboard. The motherboard can pair two GeForce RTX 2080 graphics cards. Hardware specification wise the motherboard resembles with Aorus Elite. The striking difference is that one of the PCIe x1 slots has been upgraded to x16. Check out the image here.
GIGABYTE with Z390 motherboard is focusing heavily on VRAM section. From making the motherboard SLI ready, to its official name and the standing look it tells clearly that its VRAM focused.
The motherboard is non-Aorus, so it can safely be expected that a better hardware may achieve better performance than GIGABYTE Z390. Currently there is no information on weather the motherboard will support cpu overclocking or not. However if you plan on buying two RTX 2080, which will cost around 1400 USD, then you should also consider buying an overclocking supported CPU. Gigabyte sooner or later will showcase overclocking supported cpu.
Back at reveal of RTX graphics card SIGGRAPH event, Nvidia CEO praised the features that will debut in RTX series and said:
