Empty Bottles work as empty containers that you can fill with important items such as potions and other consumables. The more Empty Bottles you have, the more potions and other consumables you can use. In total, there are 5 Empty Bottles that can be found in the game.
On the other hand, the Potions, Spores, and Fairies that you can then add to Empty Bottles can be crafted or bought from the Bazaar.

How to Get Empty Bottles
| Empty Bottle | How to Get |
| 1 | Obtained from Luv at the potion shop |
| 2 | Found inside a chest next to an NPC in the Sealed Temple. |
| 3 | This bottle can be found in Skyloft, where it is obtained after you talk to Parrow in the Light Tower |
| 4 | Found in the Fire Sanctuary, where it is in the area with the water plants. You will need the Mogma Mitts to access this area |
| 5 | Found in Thunderhead where it will be inside a Goddess Chest |
