Alex Chen is a brand-new character for the franchise, and this is the first time that Deck Nine will be working with characters of their own design. Alex Chen has the ability of reading and manipulating the emotions of other people around her however very few people know about this ability as she has mostly kept it suppressed. The emotions are visible to her in blazing, colorful auras and this ability is put to the ultimate test when her brother dies in a so-called accident.
After his death, Alex decides to use her abilities to their full potential in order to find the truth behind her brother’s death. The game is set in the small town of Haven where Alex arrives to see her brother after a long time before his tragic death. The complete story will be unveiled later this year when Life is Strange releases on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, and Google Stadia on September 10, 2021.
