Lost Ark Harmony Shards Guide
In addition to the progression of the story, Harmony Shards are also essential in increasing the level of your gear to tier 2. Harmony Shards will not be easy to get, but you can increase their numbers by completing certain activities that reward you with them.
Complete Island Quests
Island Quests are obtained once your gear level reaches 250, from where you can complete Island Quests that reward you with Harmony Shards. There are around 14 Islands with their own quests that can help you reach at least level 300.
Although Island Quests give you Harmony Shards, you have to make sure that you do not accept any quest that asks you to leave the islands.
Chaos Dungeons
Chaos Dungeons are the most reliable way of getting Harmony Shards and can be completed twice a day to get the maximum amount of rewards. Although you are not directly given Harmony Shards by grinding Chaos Dungeons, they do give you Disorder Crystals and Perception Shards
Both these items are very useful where the Perception Shards can be exchanged for Harmony Shards weekly, while Disorderly Crystals allow you to trade them for legendary items to increase your gear level.
Joining Guilds
Another good way to get Harmony Shards is by first joining a Guild, and then donating and completing Guild tasks. Joining Guilds and then donating 6,000 Silver every day, and also completing the weekly Guild tasks will get you Bloodstones.
These Bloodstones can then be exchanged for Harmony Shards from the Bloodstone Exchange NPC in North Vern and other locations.
Trading Pirate Coin
This method requires you to specifically look for the Tea and Libra Guild vessel if it can be found on any dock of a location. When you do run into this vessel, you can exchange your Pirate Coins for Gear improving materials, and Harmony Shards.
Complete the Tower
The Shadespire Tower is another way of getting Harmony Shards but it is important that you have an alt-character that runs the tower before you run on your main character. This is because the first run gives you rewards that are specific to the character completing the run.
The second time you go for the Tower should be on your main character as it gives you plenty of other important items but none more so than the Harmony Shards. Completing all the 50 floors of the Shadespire Tower gives you a total of around 20,000 Harmony Shards.
