Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is not a very puzzle-heavy game but there is one puzzle in the game that may hinder your progress if you do not know how to solve it. This particular puzzle is found after a certain progression when you first arrive at the abandoned cabin inside the forest after you are lost while going back home. When you manage to get inside the cabin alone, you must solve a padlock combination and unlock the cabin for the other girls to get inside. This is rather a tricky puzzle. Cabin Padlock Guide – Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
When you first inspect the padlock, Swann will comment about how the padlock has some weird symbols on it. If you inspect it closely, you will notice that the first symbol is locked in its place because it is broken, and this leaves you with three symbols to correctly guess before you can open the lock and the cabin door for others. If you exit this screen and inspect further down in the cabin, there is an old sheet stuck to a pole with a knife. You can inspect this old sheet as it tells you how you can solve the clue.
This sheet has four steps, and each one represents a hint about a particular symbol on the padlock. There are multiple symbols in different locations throughout the cabin that glow blue if you look through your camera. The first slot is already locked and broken so you can ignore the first one. Moving on, you have 2 next to the stairs, 3 next to some utensils, and 4 next to a gun and a bear footprint.
Now you can explore the cabin for these items and look for the correct symbols that are close to the items shown on the sheet. The items are not exactly what they are shown and you have to decipher what they mean. The 2 is next to the stairs, which means you have to go up to the trap door and look for the symbol upstairs. This symbol is a half-moon.
Next, you must head over to the small kitchen counter and look for the symbol next to it. It looks like a leaf of some sort. Finally, the gun and the bear footprint mean the bear trap on the wall and the symbol next to it is the star cluster. Now that you have figured it out, head back to the padlock and enter the combination to solve the clue. The correct sequence is: Half Moon, Leaf, and Star Cluster. This will open the padlock, and you can progress with the main story.
