Below we have detailed how you can start farming Gold in Luigi’s Mansion 3.

How to Farm Gold

The best way you can get Gold in the game is by defeating Boo ghost enemies. Among many other enemies, Boos drop the most Gold. In addition, they not only drop Gold coins, but also gold bars that carry more value to the total.

There are many Boo ghosts on the various floors of the game. In total, there are 16 Boos that you can hunt down. Boos hide randomly in a certain location and require you to look for them with your Dark Light. Boo can hide behind random objects like vases, tables, or toilets. You just have to be alert and look for objects that are moving on their own. That alone is a good sign that a Boo is nearby.

Whenever you capture a Boo and slam it around, it will drop a lot of gold coins and gold bars. Each can drop this twice until you have captured them for good. Just make sure you hurry and sweep up everything otherwise it the gold will disappear after a short while.

What Can You Buy With Gold

Gold can be spent in the Lab of E. Gadd. Once you have met him and are in the lab you can find a lot of useful items that make things easier for you. You can by the Boo Finder, which gives you a location of a Boo on your map. Each time you buy this, it will cost you 1,000 Gold.

Other things you can buy are Gem Finder and Gold Bone. The Gem Finder will show you the location of the Gem in the area, and all you have to do is go and collect them. Lastly, the Gold Bone allows you an extra life when Polterpup comes to restore your health after you have died.
