Block Man – How to Defeat

Block Man is a boss who loves blocks, as suggested by his name, and he loves to throw blocks at you during the boss fight as well. The battle will consist of three phases. During the first phase, Block Man will jump towards Mega Man’s immediate location and then call down some blocks from above.

You will need to first dodge Block Man’s jump and then his blocks falling from above. Normally the blocks are four but they could be three as well sometimes. After dodging the jump, do not venture too far from the boss and stay close to him but not too close as to get proximity damage when he moves his arm up and down.

The best time to deal damage during this phase is to blast Block Man with everything you have while he is calling down blocks from the air and has his arm raised up in the air. Keep dodging and shooting him until his health is zero and the battle enters the second phase. During the second phase, Block Man will transform into a much bigger robot.

During this phase, the weak point is the red glowing light in the middle of the giant robot. You cannot reach it with normal jumps so your best bet is to damage it while he is attacking you since he bends down with each attack. He will gradually walk towards you and you will get tucked into a corner with his behemoth body towering over you.

During this time, Block Man will either slam the ground, throw blocks at you or simply punch you right across your face. Dodge, slide and get out of the attacks when he comes forward to attack and use this as an opportunity to hit him with a charged shot. He takes damage quickly during this phase so he will eventually go down.

Once his health reaches zero, Block Man will enter his last phase and will return to his previous smaller form. During this phase, Block Man will continuously throw blocks at you without any delay. You can destroy the blocks by shooting at them easily. Keep jumping and shooting and you should be fine for this phase.

If you want to slide under blocks, make sure that the wave of blocks has no lower blocks or you will get hit. Keep at it until his health reaches zero. Once his health is zero, Block Man will be defeated for good. You will unlock B. Dropper for defeating Block Man which is his signature weapon.
