Indie developer Half Asleep has announced that their upcoming rhythm game Melatonin is getting a Steam Next Fest demo in June 2022. Melatonin is a dreamy rhythm-based game that features a stylish world of dreams. The game is set inside the mind of the main character, and you explore this world as you travel through their dreams with beautiful music and art.
As you travel through dreams, you will encounter a wide variety of surreal challenges based on everyday life. The levels are set in beautiful hand-drawn levels with colorful original music that organically flows with the gameplay and visuals. The game offers no UI giving you the opportunity to become completely immersed in the experience. You will experience first-hand as the character’s dreams are shaped by their reality.

Half Asleep is an indie developer based in Vancouver who is comprised of a sole developer David Huynh. David previously worked in graphic design, interface design, and user experience design before jumping into the video game industry to release his very own title. Melatonin is David’s first project however he plans of expanding his studio and building up a team to release additional titles in the future as well.
