Ubisoft Mena, Nvidia Middle East Announce The Mena Regional League 2020

Ubisoft Mena is teaming up with Nvidia Middle East for the next phase in Rainbow Six Siege Esports, the Mena Regional League 2020. This is the next phase of the Mena Regional League and this time around players can look forward to an even more intense season with more and more people moving to eSports.

Registrations for the event are now open. Ubisoft has teamed up with Nvidia to ensure that players experience the very best gameplay while playing on their NVidia powered PCs during the event. Frames are extremely important in Rainbow Six Siege and because of this, Nvidia powered computers will ensure that all contestants play at ultra-fast FPS to ensure that they remain competitive in the game.

The schedule for Mena Regional League 2020 comprises of three stages:

The Open Qualifiers:

  • Starting from July 14th till August 8th.
  • All registered teams compete in classic single elimination rounds.
  • The top 8 team qualify to the League.

League:

  • Starting from 28th August till October 2nd.
  • The 8 qualifying teams compete in a round-robin point based system.
  • Round-robin being that each team gets to compete against every other team.
  • The top 4 teams qualify to the grand finals.

The Grand Finals:

  • On October 16th and 17th.
  • Double elimination.
  • Four teams compete for the MENA Regional 2020 Trophy.

Prize Pool:

  • 1st Place: $18,000
  • 2nd Place: $10,000
  • 3rd Place: $5,000
  • 4th Place: $3,000
  • 5th to 8th (Each): $1,250

To register yourself for the event, you can head over to the official Rainbow Six League page and fill the form and submit it. All key matches and the grand finals of Mena Regional League 2020 will be streamed on the official UbisoftME YouTube channel. Some important notes are detailed below:

  • It is for Middle East and North Africa countries ONLY
  • For PC platform ONLY
  • All matches will be 5v5 Team Deathmatch Bomb
